Children are allowed on board the airboats, children ages 3 and under are free. Children ages 6 and under are required to wear a life jacket for safety. Tour is suitable for children of all ages. Boat rides are not mandatory, though if you would like to ride the airboat, upon check-in, please let our staff know, and you will be scheduled a departure time.

Our boats leave every 20 to 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A final boat leaves at 5 p.m., but we recommend our guests arrive here no later than 4 p.m. because our animal exhibits close at 5 p.m. when the last boat boards.

Senior citizens and visitors with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable to this disease according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). By visiting the Sawgrass Recreation Park you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to the COVID-19 virus. If your doctor has advised you that you are in a high-risk group, we ask that you not visit at this time. Please be safe and respectful of others while you enjoy your visit. Face Masks are required when visiting our gift shop and food service areas/employees, during your entry airboat tour, and when interacting with exhibit employees and animals.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
